Nolan Vitko and Owen Shotwell Win 2025 Ted Reinhardt / Bruce Brucato Memorial Scholarships

Hello Dooleys’ Friends! Hello MPP Friends! This year’s winners of the Ted Reinhardt and Bruce Brucato Memorial Scholarship are Nolan Vitko and Owen Shotwell. Both young men are 2025 graduates of Kenmore East High School who have been actively involved in music in the Kenmore school district. Nolan and Owen will attend college in the fall and both will pursue music-related careers. Congratulations Nolan and Owen for being chosen as this year’s $500 scholarship recipients!

The Ted/Bruce scholarship was first awarded in June 2017. Initially funded by Major Progress Program (a studio band that featured Ted, George Puleo, Tom Reinhardt, David Kane, Paul Swisher, and Greg Opalinski), the scholarship has received recent annual boosts from the Ted Reinhardt Western New York Drumming Festival. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, August 3 from noon to 4 pm. See the following link for specific information:
