Natasha Stanko & Elizabeth Starkweather Win 2026 Ted Reinhardt / Bruce Brucato Memorial Scholarships
Hello Friends! This year’s winners of the Ted Reinhardt and Bruce Brucato Memorial Scholarship are Natasha Stanko and Elizabeth Starweather. Both young ladies are 2026 graduates of Kenmore East High School who have been actively involved in music in the Kenmore, NY school district. Natasha and Elizabeth will attend college in the fall and both will pursue music-related careers. Congratulations Natasha and Elizabeth for being chosen as this year’s $500 scholarship recipients!
The Ted/Bruce scholarship was first awarded in June 2017. Initially funded by Major Progress Program (a studio band that featured Ted Reinhardt, George Puleo, Tom Reinhardt, David Kane, Paul Swisher, and Greg Opalinski), the scholarship has received recent boosts from the Ted Reinhardt Western New York Drumming Festival and an annual Ted/Bruce Music Festival hosted each year by The Dooleys in March.
